Folkelarm is the most important meeting point for Nordic folk music and a showcase festival presenting the best and most promising musicians and dancers from the Nordic countries. It consists of both a conference and evening concerts, where industry professionals connect during the day and audiences discover emerging artists at night. The festival also hosts the annual Folkelarm Award, which honors outstanding Norwegian folk musicians and dancers.
