Viola Okos entered the Hungarian music scene as a teenager as the singer of Ethnofil (Odd ID), whose sound blends ethno, progressive, and electronic elements, described today as “post-pop.” She is also a member of Makám and Fuvalom. Her music combines alternative and folk influences. In early 2024, she released the folk EP Amerre én járok (“Where I Walk”), a contemplative and atmospheric work on which she played and recorded every instrument herself, including the Moldavian koboz.
