Veronika Varga is a Budapest-based Hungarian folk singer and double bass player specializing in Balkan and Greek Mediterranean traditional music.
Through projects including Babra, BudaPesme, and Espéria, she brings authentic Balkan, Greek, and Hungarian folk traditions to contemporary audiences.
A graduate of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, she deepened her studies in Greece and collaborates regularly with Greek musicians across Europe.
Alongside performing, she leads creative singing workshops and writes on cultural and musical topics for magazines and institutions.
