The official kick-off event for UPBEAT members takes place at Waves Vienna
The official kick-off event for UPBEAT, the European showcase platform for world music takes place at Vienna’s first and favorite showcase festival, Waves, held annually since 2011. With the motto “East meets West“ it welcomes two countries as special guests every year, which will serve as the basis and inspiration for many years of pan-European cooperation. Is there a better place to kick off a network meeting than this international event?
The event will be divided into informal and formal parts: we will start with a friendly brunch in a Viennese café to break the ice and continue with a partner meeting where we will share our ideas & strategy related to UPBEAT. At night, we will spend our time watching the fantastic showcase concerts – mixing business and entertainment.
